Realizing that today's owners need the absolute best and safest conditions for their breeding mares and their progeny, the re-development of Kia-Ora was undertaken with a view to providing the best facilities that modern design and technology can provide.

With an ultra-modern broodmare barn of 20 heated boxes and a fully equipped veterinary complex, both permanent boarders and walk-on mares are assured of professional care and attention.

The foaling unit is supported by 30 nursery yards where mares and foals can be supported through the essential few days before and after foaling.
